About Daphne Gawronski
Ever since I can remember, I have had a passion for art. From the time I was a little girl, I was surrounded by a family of creative artists. My passion took me to UCLA, where I earned a college degree in Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Arts. The need to support myself detoured me to become a graphic artist. From there, I chose to climb the corporate ladder that led me to a career in marketing and then upper management. I have worked for publications, not-for-profits, and advertising agencies in various roles. After a successful career in association management, I have entered a time in my life where I can pursue my fine art passion once again.
My inspiration for my watercolor paintings mostly comes from my travels, especially coastal landscapes. Sea turtles, waves, and shoreline environments are recurring subjects.

Daphne's Story
In recent years I have been an instructor at the Fallbrook School of the Arts teaching watercolor classes. I have been a member of the Temecula Valley Art League and attend "Coffee on the Deck" Wednesdays at Dorland Mountain Arts. I have painted Plein Air with the Warner Springs Art Guild and participated in the annal Ralph Love Plein Air competition in Temecula.
My paintings have been exhibited at The Merc and Grace Mellman Library in Temecula, the Las Lagunas Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, Sixth Street Studios and Gallery in Gilroy, California and at the 59th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition.
