Shane's Story
An American contemporary painter and cultural founder whose work explores climate change, environmental memory, and the emotional intersections between humans and landscape. Known for large-scale abstract works layered with atmospheric texture and horizon forms, Townley has developed a signature visual language rooted in the fragility and resilience of the natural world.
Over the past two decades, Townley has created hundreds of paintings and multiple conceptual series, including The Global Warming Series, The Dark Series, and Desert Sunsets. His work has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Laguna Beach, and Joshua Tree, and collected by private and public patrons across the United States.
